Draft pint at the brewery. Munich Dunkel Lager, not a Dunkelweizen, not even close.
Shared a round with another MDL fan, cheers Dave!
Dark brownish black, mahogany edges. Creamy tan foam that left behind plenty of lacing.
Concentric rings of lace down the sides of the glass.
Aroma of toasty grains, carafa malt, somewhat yeasty, some odd multivitamin vibes.
Feels pretty dry and lightly astringent from the roast malt, light bodied and drinkable.
Taste is all toasty malt and yeast driven, somewhat chalky dry aftertaste.
We put back the pints eventually but a second one wasn't in the cards.
