Belgian-Style Brown Ale Aged in Red Wine Barrels with Blackberry.

An odd duck, sort of a style-bender. Sampled in a stemmed taster glass at the brewery.
Dark reddish color, thin froth on the surface. Spotty lacing.
Aroma was clean and yeasty, maybe a slight fruity hint.
Taste was more blackberry forward, completely natural fruit, no bugs or inoculated tartness here.
Body was light, barrel time was seemingly minimal. Overall it was ok to try, wouldn't get a full pour.
Not sure what the experiment was trying to achieve here, didn't pick up much barrel character.
