Pours murky golden with a fat white cap. Banana, clove, yeast, black pepper, and very mild funk in the nose. Taste is watery belgian yeast, slight grain harsness on finish. Feel is this too, breaks down before the finish. A sponge that sopped up this beer apparently, not fun

Taste: Some clove and fruit like banana, tropical hops, yeast. Straw grain funky nose. Gold, slight haze, average lace to head. Medium to lite body. Something off on this beer. 24 IBUs

Very slight 10% haze, with a light golden glow. Head is 1 finger tall, with plenty of lace left behind.
Farmhouse funk on the nose, with some fresh Belgian yeast, some floral, and then some peppery spicy notes.
A crisp, golden malt flavor invades, followed by a hint of bubble gum, cilantro, clove, and pepper.
Feel is crisp and light, with a distinct creaminess that whips into a light froth in the mouth, with that pepper coming through again via bite on the cheeks.
Overall, very similar to Belgian Pale Ales or Saisons you'd find in 750ml bottles for $12 or more. Considering this 12 oz can only set me back $2, I feel like this is a solid value (hence the overall 4.25).

Clear yellow-gold body with a fizzy white head that leaves no trace, an almost insignificant amount of bubbles lazily rise. Nose offers yeast funk, light spice, light malt, a wee teenie touch of bubblegum/clove that is wonderful, and a poke of spicy hops. The body gets even more delicious, amplifying all these funky yeast-derived flavors (and adding stone fruit to the mix) to new heights and balance, making a truly, honestly delicious beer, all the more impressive that such flavor is harnessed in an only 4.8% liquid. Body is medium-light weight, with some moderate carbonation.
Really delicious stuff here; the combination and ratio of flavors was outstanding, especially in such a meek (alcohol-wise) beer. Oh, and badass artwork, as usual. This beer resonates with me.
