The barrels changed the profile a bit, but I am not sure it is any better or worse. Basically took the bourbon sweetness and replaced it with some whiskey spice. Orange is harder to detect, but rye is nice with base beer. Somehow felt thinner to me

Had this after drinking the regular Beverage of Champions. I found this a little different in that it had a little more kick to it.
The taste was a little spicier had a little less sweetness. Also I had a harder time smelling the orange peel. Overall this was still a really good beer but I preferred the regular Beverage of Champions.
