This is an EXCELLENT hefe. I don't know why the ratings are below a 4 avg. The aroma and taste mostly match, consisting of extremely crisp and refreshing banana, citrus, and clove, with a nice, subtle malt backbone. It is hopped more than a typical hefe, but the integral flavors of a hefeweizen are there in spades, and this is a damn fine beer. Again, excellent.

Canned 6/18/18
Pours like thick banana juice, looked thick viscosity, light fizzy foamy head, very light lacing, super murky thick orange
Nose about what I expected, creamy wheat and citrus banana esters hefe like, nice esters little peppery clove phenol note, mixed with hops, citrus and spicy hops, bit grassy too, little yeasty note
Taste again similar, super hopped hefe, more esters like orange citrus oils, banana, etc, little spicy clove phenols, spicy tingly booze too, creamy thick wheat, juicy soft wheat, spicy grassy hops, little generic tropical and citrus hops, fair bitterness spicy. Finishes drier little soft juicy, fair bitterness spicy citrus banana esters and creamy wheat lingering too
Mouth is med bod, little soft creamy juicy, nice carb
Overall pretty nice as long as you know what to expect, not an ipa, a super hopped hefe.

An incredibly hazy IPA that haze a NEIPA appearance. Decent lacing. Aroma is classic hefeweizen with esters that create a bannana bubblegum smell. Just a hint of hops too. Taste is hefeweizen thru and thru. Picking up subtle hops that diminish the hefeweizen flavor without adding anything. Feel is smooth but would like it slightly thicker. Overall this is a pretty good beer. I think they're on the right track to make a hefeweizen, no need to be "trendy" and make it into an IPA.
