Had on tap. Light brown with orange tinges, no head, as it should be. Smell features lighter bourbon notes, some wood, huge caramel and toffee, and a hint of citrus zest. Taste is exactly the same, finishing dryer with big booze. Feel is right on for ebw, with the booze serving as a slight thickener without losing the dry thinness on the back end. Much more cohesive with the barrel

Had this at on tap at the brewery. This is a Barrel-Aged English Style Barleywine. The base beer is a Barleywine that's been stored in bourbon barrels for a year. The look was a light brown/reddish appearance. The smell was very nice. Oak, caramel, and vanilla. The taste was a little bit boozy but still complex and rich. The feel was a little bit lighter than I would have thought but was smooth. Very well done beer.
