Pours a hazed straw color with 3 fingers of rocky ivory colored head. Below average head retention & lacing

S: A little doughyness, some orange & vanilla, orange asserts itself once warm, then fades again

T: Follows the nose, some dryness & white grape up front. Pomelo & dryness as this warms, trace amounts of vanilla, plus some grapefruit once warm, Finishes dry with sweet orange, a little tangy orange & some white grape

MF: Medium body, creamy carbonation, good balance

Started a little meh, but got better as it warmed, still expected more to be sure

Dull copper colored with a hazy complexion. There’s a fingernail of eggshell white around the rim and covering most of the top. The aroma is of pineapple. I’m tasting overripe pineapple and peaches. It comes off as a bit too sweet. The mouth is warm and heavy.

Had on tap. Maybe it is a product of competition, but thought this missed the mark on capturing the orange and vanilla ipa combo. Plus there are so many good examples out there. Hazy golden body with two fingers of head. Smell has orange and has vanilla, but they are muddled by the hops and a strange breadiness. This is more true for the taste, where the breadiness dulls the initial wave of creamsicle, and then it gets bitter quickly on the finish, a feature I don't mind but I want the orange and vanilla with it. Feel is a little heavy and chewy for a sweet treat ipa.

Collaboration with Rockwell Beer Co. On tap. Poured a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of vanilla, orange and toasted caramel. Creamy taste with vanilla, orange and toasted caramel.
