Poured from a 16oz can into a Trillium pub glass.

Look is a hazy yellow orange with a frothy off white head.

Aroma is astringent juice.

Taste is almost soda like mango beer.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on May 28, 2019. Look is lightly cloudy amber gold with a thin head and spotty lacing. Feel is medium in body.

Funky beer from a collaboration between Solomn Oath and Pipeworks.

Take a good SO double IPA, make it mango influenced and you have this hazy beverage.

Great on the nose, pours a hazy orange/amber that drinks like a grapefruit mango soft drink.

The acidity takes a toll on the tongue, so dinged on mouth feel, but if you can live with that, this is an interesting insight in to where NE IPA is trying to live.

Worthy effort, definitely worth trying, but ultimately too much for me!

Draft at Weston’s, served in a tulip.
Saturated opaque orange, thin layer of foam that dissolves and leaves arcs of spotty lace behind. Citrusy aroma, orange and grapefruit peel.

Taste is lightly bitter with a balanced sweetness, sour orange juice, overripe citrus fruit. Dry resiny bitter finish. Medium bodied, ample carb but mellow. Overall it’s fine, nothing too over the top.

Had on tap. Cloudy yellow body with a finger of white foam. Smell had plenty of mango, with some drier hop bitterness, melon, bubblegum, and berries. Taste is similar, but really focused on mango and melon, with a heavy bread complexion, just a little muddled. Feel was sneaky heavy though bright and smooth.

This was an IPA that uses El Dorado and Denali hops and a lot of mangos. This is a collaboration with Pipeworks. This one definitely had a lot of mango flavor up front and also some melon and berries. The yeast gave it a little bit of funky flavor that kinda was meh for me but overall this was a good beer.
