L: brown body with a thinner, foamy, tan colored head
S: grain, caramel, gingerbread spices
T: malty with notes of bread crust, grain, darkened caramel along with possible cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg; hops are earthy and herbal
F: medium body, ample carbonation, spices linger on the quite balanced finish
O: ample amount of spices in this brown ale. It’s a good spiced Christmas-y beer

December 2023. Des Plaines. A little sweet and a little thick little too heavy I would not probably get this one again the game looks pretty cool though.

16 fl oz. can, canned 09/28/2023. "Xmas Brown Ale with Holiday Spices".
A: Pours brown & nutty looking. Ruby mahogany in the glass, with a strong finger's worth of tan fluff head. Looks nice.
S: Brown, toasty, & nutty, with aromas of licorice & candi spice. Nutmeg?
T: Taste follows - warm, brown, bready, nutty. Toasty, with notes of bread crust, wheat, and chocolate malt. Roasty & bitter finish. It's actually pretty nice & not overly spiced. Spruce? Juniper? Something along those lines.
F: Smooth, light, pretty easy-drinking. Modest 5.5% abv is nice (BeerAdvocate lists 7.0% - I'll be honest, I could see it being even better with a touch higher abv)..
Overall, nice. Average, but nice.
