16 fl oz. can, canning info is smeared to hell on the bottom of my can; i checked the other 3 cans in my 4 pack, looks like these were canned on 07/25/22, making this beer about a month and a half old. Strangely enough, i just noticed this stuff today and scooped it, and I also just freshly added it to the BeerAdvocate database. Nice can art, strange; it says shit like "Take this job + shove it" "The King of Barstool Mountain" and "Johnny Paycheck Barley".
Poured into clear unbranded stemware.
A - Pours thick, hazy, & juicy. Two fingers worth of head leaves lots of thick scattered lacing throughout. Body is a hazy juicy orange color, with no sediment visible.
S - Smell is of fresh fruity hops: juicy, slight alcohol phenol bite, stone fruits, cream, & a bit of bready caramel malt can be found.
T - Lots of fresh juicy fruit character emerges from the hop content: tons of juice, mango, pineapple, papaya
M - The feel is smooth & creamy, easy drinking for the modest 7.0% abv, but i feel like the carbonation could be turned up just a touch or so. The beer ends up feeling full-bodied and filling. A bitter, hoppy finish.
Overall, a nice beer per the style, I always enjoy a nice "Hazy IPA" though there isn't anything to set this one apart from the rest of the pack, and at $15.99 for the 4 pack, there are probably better options. Nice to try.
