Foederface captures our annual release of a celebratory Märzen and continues to grow in its beauty, subtlety, and sheer magnificence. Brewed alongside its traditional brother, following fermentation this beer is kissed by fresh Missouri oak as it lagers for an additional six weeks in our foeder. This beer is so rich in its form and substance that it permits and even encourages soaring flights of imagination by anyone who tastes it. If you haven’t discovered foeder-aged beer yet, all I can say is that Foederface is a marvelous place to start. Slight tannins, malt character ramped with caramel aromatics, an American layer of bitterness, and German Perle hops to bring it home.
