16oz can. No dating information found. Label has the description of 'West Coast-Style IPA with Amarillo, Mosaic, Riwaka, and Simcoe Dynaboost'.
Cloudy, dark gold colored body. One finger of white head, which reduces in body but leaves a thick and high clinging ring. Leaves behind partial walls of lacing.
Aroma of grapefruit and resin.
Taste is semi-sweet grapefruit and pine resin, with a little dank bud as well. Bitterness builds with each sip. Aftertaste allows a little sweetness to percolate to the surface.
More than medium mouthfeel. Soft and supple texture. Excellent carbonation.
Lacks body clarity and bitterness for a West Coast IPA, and has a soft body feel but is missing on sweet fruitiness for a NE IPA. Stands on its own as a Midwest IPA that looks and tastes good and is balanced.
