Welcome to the home of Busch Light, the coldest and smoothest light lager there is. Here at Busch Light we’re serious about cracking a cold one and heading for the mountains. We get excited about packing a cooler, that feeling when you reel in a big fish, supporting the farming community, the first hunt of the season and cranking up some country music. If that sounds like a good time to you, stick around and take a hike through the home of Busch Light.

First let's start by saying Busch light or any mass produced light beer you can get in a 30 rack is for ACTUAL beer drinkers. This is not some froo froo hipster man bun pumpkin spice latte ale you sip on a picnic blanket. This is for a hot day a cold day or any day you want ice cold delicious refreshment. This is a mowing beer, a tailgating beer, a golfing beer or a shower beer. You stick these in ur coveralls when ice fishing and u slam them while watching football... Go to any local watering hole or REAL bar and most likely will find it on tap and will probably even have a night dedicated to half off cans of this sweet ice cold nectar. This is a beer that offers that kind of refreshment that makes you say ahhhhh wow that's cold. I can't imagine having some IPA on a hot summer day or with a burger or wings??... Up at the ol bar by my factory u can see men in there every night slamming these babies down while calling the one craft beer on tap monkey piss. These are men, equipment operators, laborers, union guys farmers factory workers etc... This is what they drink they wouldn't drink an IPA if you paid them. They count there beer in cases not cans. To all the soy boys that brag craft beer so much and nurse one with dinner this is a proper man's beer of choice. It goes great with grease and dirt on your hands after a long days work. The sound of the first one being cracked just puts a smile on your face whether after a long day or right at the first tee shot at a 7am tee time. Truly a beer for Americans. Most beers with high ratings here wouldn't get touched by anyone I know. This in my opinion is the definition of a volume beer drinker's beer. God bless America.

Like water. Maybe a positive is that because it's so watery, it's not actually disgusting. Just bland.

Why is there so much corn syrup in this beer? It's basically Cream Corn Light.
Looks as good as any other golden pale lager. Nice head retention. Modest amount of sticky lacing.
Smell is sweet corn and wet grass. Coors Light and Bud Light have a decent hop presence to at least balance out the sweet "beer" smell. Not here.
Overly sweet corn syrup flavor. Light grass. Gross.
Feel is light bodied and good carbonation. It's fine. Do you honestly care about the mouthfeel on a beer like this?
Definitely among the worst of the worst. I can appreciate Miller Lite or Coors or whatever for what they are, but this is like a sad attempt at even that. Give me a Bud Light and I'll happily drink it. Give me this and I'll ask for a water.

Probably the most watered down beer I have ever had. The design and cheap price of BUSCH LIGHT is the only thing they got going. Why my friends love this beer it's beyond me? There are definitely far better cheap beers out there for sure!

Perfectly forgettable beer at a good price. Pretty watery but hell, it's an American Macro. Serve cold on a hot summer day and you'll get the point.

This is a high school/college beer. No other way to describe it. It doesn't really have a smell. It doesn't have mouth feel other than watery and "brassy." It has zero complexity. This is a cheap beer. Nothing more, Nothing less. I think that's ok because it doesn't really pretend to be anything other than that. The only thing this beer has going for it is the mass-produced cans reflective of John Deere and Corn.

poured from a 24 ounce can into a nonic pint glass
These ratings are based on a Light Lager scale.
L - 3.0 - poured with a one inch thick foamy head that slowly dissipates. The color is a pale dull yellow. Not many carbonation bubbles.
S - 3.0 - grassy, grainy. Not picking up corn but there's a slight cereal note. Lack of a hop note is disappointing.
T - 3.0 - the first is the slight sweetness which lingers and dissolves into a very tiny apple note. There's a small cereal finish that's almost undetectable. Overall the taste isn't offensive. It's completely non descript.
F - 2.0 - the mouth feel is tiny tiny bit syrupy, not at all heavy or thick but not watery.
O - 2.75 - this beer isn't offensive, isn't great or above average for that matter. It is just a very average American style light beer. I won't be searching it out nor will I buy it again but I'm happy that I tried it.

A solid macro light lager on the budget end of the spectrum. Back in the day my uni friends called it God's water. Today it's a frosty cold post-work brewski that's easy on the wallet and still deserving of that moniker. Perfectly acceptable for all occasions.

Needed a 30rack for the upcoming weekend. Something “light” decent, and affordable. Busch light it IS! Been a long time. Drank this stuff pretty frequently in the 90’s. Honestly, of all the 30racks, this one had the freshest date. BB: May 2026. Freeze em up! and swill em down! It’s an average light beer. Not nearly as bad, as the score given here. It’s smooth, crisp, gold, and gets the job done. When you need a bunch. Cheers!

Appearance - The beer was a cloudy yellow color.
Smell - sweet adjunct grains were noted.
Taste - The taste was not entirely offensive. This could go well with certain meals.
Mouthfeel - the carbonation was fairly aggressive.
Overall - It seems to have become cool to like this one. Honestly, I have had many worse AALs.
