Anheuser-Busch’s exclusive ice-brewing process takes the beer to a temperature below freezing, which leads to the formation of ice crystals in the finishing process that gives Bud Ice its rich, smooth taste.

While at a Mariners game at the old King Dome, the only vendor in my area was pimping this swill.

The first one was certainly the worst. It was the color of piss if you were slightly dehydrated with a head that whose only existence was due to the jostling of the aforementioned vendor.

Smelled like what you could expect from a vendor served ball game beer. Slight aroma of barley but extremely thin at best. Smell was likely muted by the temperature, as the vendor did a good job of keeping cold offerings in his tray

Taste was laden with a bold yet seemingly contrived attempt at creating a memorable lager, that is, that it had the most slight characteristics of lager but the process by which this thing was crafted, killed every natural flavor that may have existed in it. Undeniable adjunct taste of, what is that, formaldehyde???

Mouthfeel was an equally unfortunate thing with hints of carbonation. This thing soured on the tongue almost immediately when it warmed up at all.

Drinkable? After about 8 or 11 of them I can safely say, no...

The only bright spot was that after the game we had to track down a restaurant to sober up, so we errantly wandered into Pyramid Brewery (looked like a food place to drunk people). I'm sure I enjoyed their hefeweizen, but I can't remember.

What an absolutely horrid concoction this is lol. Only beer in recent memory I had to dump down the drain because of how foul it was. I am sure this goes absolutely nuts before you black out though. Also would be lying if I said the can isn’t wonderfully 90s in a way I think is cute.

This is a very good cheap "ice" beer. Good college vibes, this is very drinkable and i can slam these down for a 5.5%. I love getting a 18 pack for the catfish trip, the taste is actually kinda surprising. I was impressed but be aware, the hangovers are a little rough. Better than natty ice for sure

I prepared for this $1.15(25oz) beer, like it was an Olympic event. Plate of pistachios(to salt the mouth for maximum thirst) , and I dressed this cheap date up - in a TALL Lowenbrau Helles glass. At 5.5%abv and only 2 months young, this one is fresh. I still remember the “ice” bottles from the 90’s, that literally looked like ice carved into the glass. I digress, poured aggressively, into the aforementioned glass. Clear, golden, stark white, soapy, 3 finger head. It settles to a nice soapy 2 finger head. The smell, isn’t great cheap adjuncts, and booze. Moderate lacing. Thin mouthfeel. Moderately carbonated. It’s cheap beer. Is it terrible? I don’t think so. But then, it could’ve been the pistachios masking the funk or off flavors. I’ve had far worse and much better. It’s an ice beer. An average one. Cheers!

Look... we all had our ups or downs in beer especially cheap imo. Bud ice has always been a staple for me when down or even in highs I go to bud ice not for the look more for the taste and going back to my roots. My teenage roots miss em 2 for 5 on 40z hard to find btw in socal now. But Damm bud ice taste good when super cold but somewhat scrappy when warm.

It's just me, my cigarette smoke encrusted recliner, 500 laps, and my good ol' Bud Ice tonight. The initial pop of the 25 oz can echoes off the walls like the shouting matches I would have with my ex wife about our bills. It always amazed me that you can purchase these gems for less than $2, and she still complained about me buying them all the time. As you pour Bud Ice into a glass, the color is the perfect shade of gold with a beautiful, white, pillowy bed of foam at the top. The head dissipates faster than the custody battle I lost. Immediate metallic aromas fill the living room overtaking the stale alcoholic odors emanating from the pile of redeemables from the previous nascar races I watched. The flavor is the perfect blend of bold, sweet, and smooth, which is probably why it ranks 2nd in freeze-distilled beer out of Missouri. Mouthfeel is clean and crisp. Overall I rank this beer a 3 after my favorite driver of all time, Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Well, not the worst from their lineup. Clear yellow color with a big, white head. Malt, corn, and some fruits in the aroma. Clean, boring, and sweet-tasting.

Had this out of a classy 25 oz can from 7/11. Since it was called ice beer, I figured it would be fitting to drink it ice cold. I put my can in my freezer and I got it as cold as I could. Some of you might see this as sacriledge, and others might remember this is Bud Ice. Anyway, I finally cracked it open and took a sip. Oddly refreshing. You could call it kinda dry, in that its not particularly sweet. That might be just because it’s extremely cold. A bit of adjunct taste, a bit of malt taste, and some alcohol. It’s very similar to normal Budweiser, but more alcohol. Say what you want about this water adjacent beer, I didn’t find it gross and I thought it was refreshing. As for the mouthfeel, it’s the best thing. This feels like a soda. It’s well-carbonated and hits the throat nice.

This was my go to for years. I was in love with her. So in love I made a ripoff of the logo for some merch my band was gonna do. sadly it never happened but man it wouldve been so dope. She broke my heart. This shit is vile beyond vilest vile vile. It looks and tastes like piss (ive been around the block a time or two). Would I drink one again? Hell yeah. Do i want to right now? Not really honestly. The can is sick tho. Feels like a relic. Makes me think of the kinda guy who would drunkenly scream at his wife. Anyway 5/5 for the memories
