Sometimes this is what you need. Light, refreshing. I put a lime in it so I can’t be intelligent about specifics. A good all-day beer. Hazy, limey, easy.

 

 

 

 

 

A: Pours a very hazy pale greenish white in color with heavy amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and faint juiced lime colored highlights (very much the look of carbonated limeade). The beer has a finger tall fizzy sudsy white head that quickly reduces to just the slightest of extremely thin rings at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of very sweet lime juice with a hint of lime tartness.

T: Upfront there is a moderate flavor of limeade with a moderate to strong amount of sweetness with a light amount of lime citrus tartness. Light to moderate lingering sweetness in the finish.

M: Light bodied with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of carbonation. Thin/watery.

O: By far the least artificial tasting/smelling of all of the Bud Light Lime XXX-A-Ritas and quite easy to drink and refreshing. Would be perfect for a really hot afternoon out in the sun.

 

 

 

This one has more of a natural flavor to it than the strawberry one which makes it better, It's not bad to drink one of as long as you have some beer for afterwards.

Yes, it's rare, but this is a bottle courtesy of Mr. canquest himself, woodychandler. Poured from a clear 12 oz. bottle. Has a pale lemonade color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is dominated by limes. Taste is very sweet, limes, a very light tartness. Feels medium/light bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer, although you are more likely to get a sugar buzz from it than an alcohol buzz.

 

 

I could not decide what I wanted to drink tonight while watching the Pirates game on television, but since it has been so swelteringly hot & humid lately, I decided to go with something spritzy from a bottle.

A screw-top bottle, no less! 8={} Grrr. My aggro pour brought forth a finger of fizzy, bone-white head that acted like pop and disappeared as quickly as it appeared. Color was a hazy, greenish-white (SRM = N/A). Nose smelled rather sweet, despite a lime tartness. I am pretty sure that I am not this beer's intended audience. Mouthfeel was thin, watery and fizzy, much like pop. The taste had a lime tartness, but it also seemed really sugary. Phew! Finish was more sweet than tart and while it did the job in terms of quenching my thirst, I could not help but think of Sprite/7-Up, et al. It just was not my bag.

 

Graded as a malt beverage and not as a traditional beer. Drank right from the bottle. The appearance is a cloudy slight green tinted milky color. The aroma is artificial lime and sweetener. The taste is slightly like a virgin margarita. Overall, not a bad drink for a hot summer day.

 

Lime a rita splash pours green. Nice lime aromas. Taste is citrus with lime, some margaritas flavor. Very flat. Overall surprised not horrible.
