The only beer I truly like. Never been a beer drinker before, I couldn't stand the taste, this is the best. To bad no one near me carries this any more. I cant find it any where.

A: Pours a very lightly hazy almost opaque bright pinkish red in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and faint watermelon pick colored highlights. The beer has a half finger tall fizzy pink head quickly reduces to small patch of very thin film and a very thin ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of extremely sweet artificial strawberry.
T: Upfront there is a subtle hint of grainy malts with rice adjuncts. That is followed by strong flavors of very sweet artificial strawberry and just a hint of lime tartness. No perceptible hop presence and the sweetness lingers through the finish.
M: Light to medium bodied with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of carbonation. Initially crisp.
O: After spending a hot day at the zoo with the kids, this beer was shockingly refreshing and easy to drink even if it reminded me more of Kool Aid than beer. Alcohol is well hidden.

12 ounce bottle poured into a pint glass
A: Pours clear bright pink with very little carbonation, no head at all, looks like a flat cherry or strawberry flavored soda.
A: Lots of artificial sweet smelling strawberry aromas, sugar, getting some oxidation, might be an old bottle.
T: Big hit of tart sweet berry flavor but it taste artificial, some lime in the aftertaste, basically, tart, sweet berries, lime, and that's it.
M: Light crisp, low carbonation.
O: Definitely not might style, it's tart, sweet, citrusy with artificial feel and flavors.

WTF? A bottle, from woodychandler, the captain of the canquest? Who'd a thunk it. Poured from a clear 12 oz. bottle. Has a hot pink color with barely a whisp of head. Smell is strong of strawberries, little else. Taste is sweet, strawberries, a touch of lime, did I mention sweet? Feels light in the mouth and overall is a decent drink, but now I need a beer.

I could not decide what I wanted to drink tonight while watching the Pirates game on television, but since it has been so swelteringly hot & humid lately, I decided to go with something spritzy from a bottle.
A screw-top bottle, no less! 8={} Grrr. The fizzy finger of pinkish head that arose fell just as quickly to become wisps. Color was a sort of rose-pink (SRM = N/A). If the Lime version was slightly sweet on the nose, this smelled like Kool-Aid with a LOT of sugar in the mix. Mouthfeel was thin and watery. The taste was super sweet and more like an artificially flavored version of candy than actual fruit. Phew! Again, I am relatively certain that I am not the intended audience, but still ... Finish was downright sweet, as in super sweet. Phew!

It tastes nothing like a beer, but i didn't expect it to. It had more of an artificial flavor than expected which was disappointing as i was hoping it'd be more of a natural strawberry flavor.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a cloudy pink color with no head. The aroma is a sugary imitation strawberry that has no real beer flavor.

Sampled last night while grillin' some burgers on the upper patio deck on a beautiful 68 degree evening. Picked up two days ago as part of "Make your Own 6" from the local grocery store for $7.99. Also picked up it's sisters brew, the Lime version (review after this one). The 12-ounce bottle was chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and drank right from the clear bottle. Didn't pour it to see if there was any head or lacing as I am sure that there wouldn't be. Light 'pinkish-red' in color and is only 4% alcohol which is half of what their 'Straw-A-Rita" is that comes in a 8-ounce can.
Aroma is of a strawberry margarita for the most part and isn't boozy-smelling like their 8%er. Taste was decent. Lighter-bodied with good carbonation. Overall, much better than their 8% stronger older brother. A decent brew for the warmer months.
