From the large can,, it pours a clear light yellow color with a modest white head that actually lasts. Chilly pepper scent assaulted a friends nose. In the mouth, the lime comes through, with a lime sourish aftertaste. Interesting....

Pale yellow fizzy beer with a small white colored head.

Smells of corn and fruity chili peppers. Faint lemon scent. Smells more than a little like a corn chip.

Starts out salty and sour. Strong lemon taste. Strong lemon and mild chili burn. About all I can say about it, tastes like a lemon and chili shandy.

Mouthfeel is fizzy yellow beer.

Overall it is just OK. The Modelo version of this is better.

Absolutely disgusting. I can’t put into words just how bad this beer is. So I’ll use an emoji.

Anheuser-Busch "Bud Light Chelada - Limón Y Chile"
25 fl.oz. can coded "21261 WA0008"
$3.75 @ Bella Vista Beer Distributor, Philadelphia, PA

Notes via stream of consciousness: This is made with real lime juice and natural flavors, which I guess is the pepper. It's poured a clear gold body beneath a short head of bright white foam. The aroma is a little odd. It seems woody and earthy, and I'm guessing that's from the pepper. I don't get any lime. On to the taste... uuuuuyy, that woody and earthy pepperiness is there just as strong as it is in the aroma. I'm not fond of that at all. Fortunately there's a lot of lime flavor which helps. I'm not finding and malt flavor although this is a light beer to begin with. The lime does taste real which is nice, and it's got a fair amount of acidity to it. It definitely finishes dry and acidic but there's also some heat to it. The more I drink the more it builds. I'm totally cool with that but the peppery flavor just doesn't seems right to me. IT also seems salty to me although there's nothing listed on the label. In the mouth it's light bodied and crisp. The head dropped fairly shortly after pouring and it didn't leave much in the way of lace at all. In the end I don't think it's very well balanced, and I can't even taste the "beer" in it.

A nice golden color with clear carbonation popping. A bit darker golden than I expected for a light beer. The initial pour had two fingers of head that seemed to want to stay but settled into the beer.

Picking up lime and lager on the smell. Got that bready biscuit like thing on the nose with lots of lime.

Taste is odd. Lots of lime. Picking up some chili in the far back of the taste. Almost like a ghost of Clamato hiding in there. Is it the chilis giving a bit of tomato taste? Crap this one has me corn fused.

Mouth is a bit heavy but still in the light scale. The finish does have some slight sticky and Chile heat also.

Overall Budweiser strikes again. I have to say their products can be O.K. to bad. Sorry to the Budweiser folks and I know we all have our opinions. Just mine. I got this for $3 for the tall can. Really glad I had the opportunity to review it but will not buy it again. Modelo has a great variant of this chelada (note the ABV is kicked back to a 3.5 %). It really is so much better than this one. I am sorry but cannot recommend.

25 ounce can, 21251 stamped on the bottom of the can so maybe that's the Julian Date? If so that means this was canned on September 8, 2021. Served in a chalice, the beer pours a clear gold color with about an inch or so white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Not much to the aroma, the brew smells like bready/grainy malt, lime and some chilies. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma. It tastes mostly like lime, artificial lime and bready/grainy malt, but there's also a bit of chili pepper heat noticeable too. Not even close to being hot at all but enough chile pepper and lime flavor to make it interesting. Mouthfeel/body is light, it's smooth, slick and easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. On a hot day, I could probably drink these all day long. Truthfully, I'd buy this again.

Bud Light Chelada Lime & Chili has a thin, white head, a clear, bubbly gold appearance, and some lacing. The aroma is of chili peppers, some lime, and cereal grains. The flavor is similar, with tart lime, some sweetness, and a touch of pepper heat. Bud Light Chelada Lime & Chili has a light body and a crisp finish.

25oz can poured into Duvel tulip. Picked up at grocery store for a few bucks. 21261 printed on bottom of can, no idea what it means. Maybe the 261st day of this year?

Appearance - Very clear pale gold body with almost no head to speak of. It's just a thin ring around the rim and tiny white even bubbles. This isn't what I expect from a chelada but we'll see. 3.5

Smell - Has a very light, mild sweet smell. Only the slightest hints of chile and then limon under it. 3.5

Taste - Sickly honey sweet. It just tastes like tea with honey. I know I'm supposed to be interpreting that little bit of spice as chile but it just seems like honey tea. Do I have coronavirus? Wtf is going on here lol. Okay after several sips the flavors are starting to make sense and resemble what they're supposed to be. What a weird moment though. 3.75

Mouthfeel - Crisp enough even if it has a weird almost sticky texture in the body, it finishes pretty clean and crisp and that's what really matters. 4

Overall - No bad, but a little weird first experience. 4
