11.2 oz. can, 2.5% ABV, Best Before: 09.21.23
AROMA: Strong scent of passion fruit and nothing else.
APPEARANCE: Pours a cloudy, medium gold with a tall, white, tightly frothy head that dissipates slowly with moderate lacing.
TASTE: It's moderately sweet with a nice amount of passion fruit flavor which is then followed by a touch of tartness in the finish.
MOUTHFEEL: Medium-bodied with slightly watery texture. Carbonation is about average.
OVERALL: Let's face it. With such a low ABV, this really shouldn't be classified as a beer. I wouldn't even classify it as a Radler/Shandy. It's more like a fruit juice with a splash of beer. Having said that, the fruit juice is fairly tasty. I just wish it weren't as watery as it is, and had a little more heft/body. Other than that, it makes for a nice, low-alcohol drink that is refreshing on a hot day and perfect for pool parties or BBQs.

A drinkable not unrefreshing beer, though it's a bastardized fruited hefeweizen with a shandy-tier ABV and I feel more comfortable putting this in the shandy/radler category than the hefeweizen one.
Candy-like sweetness isn't unpleasant per se, inasmuch as drinking a hefeweizen someone accidentally dropped a Jolly Rancher (or four) into an hour ago isn't unpleasant. Not what I'd call ideal, nevertheless.
If you limit me to apples-to-apples comparisons (so to speak), one need look no further than the Grapefruit Hefeweizen Schöfferhofer packages in their 12-pack variety boxes (right next to this beer) as a superior example of a canned radler available in the U.S. market.
This is the kind of forgettable shlock I'd really only get again to haul poolside or beachside in the Summer. Crushable after an afternoon surfing, I suppose, but it ain't going toe to toe with the Live Oak or Ayinger brewed hefeweizens of the world, and call me crazy but I'd sooner crush Leinenkugel's shandies.

Poured from a clear bottle into a tulip pint glass. I love passionfruit but this beer is simply too sweet. It does have some real passionfruit flavor but not much, and it's overpowered by the hard candy sweetness. Overall, not a terrible choice for a poolside beer but I won't be buying this beer again.

Clear bottle!!! Ewww... bottled 2021/07/22
Pours a large frothy creamy 1.5 finger head with great retention, good soapy lacing, semi clear semi hazy straw color
Nose smells like sweet artificial fruit, not even really passionfruit, a bit of doughy wheat, creamy as well, a perfumey floral character that I think comes from the passionfruit juice or extract,
Taste sweet again, and also the artificial fruit flavoring, some sweet passionfruit extract, but a more generic sweet tropical flavoring I'd expect to get in a cheap popsicle, a touch of creamy doughy wheat, and banana, semi dry but semi sweet finish
Mouth is med to lighter bod, a touch creamy, med to lighter small bubble carb
Overall not good, this was made for kids to drink in Germany I think

Lightly hazy gold, with slight, quickly-dissipating white head.
Smells more of mango + guava than passion fruit. Then again, there are lots of species of Passiflora, not sure what's in this one, so...???? Not getting any of the usual hefeweizen aromas. There are brief flashes of a mild doughy/yeasty smell, but it's immediately superseded by the fruit .
Taste is reminiscent of the OG wine coolers from the late 80s/early 90s (You had to be there. ;) ), with a moderate, vague tropical fruit mix, that leans mango, overlaying some light malt liquor flavor.
Feel is light-medium, juicy, with light, very fine carbonation tingle. Finish & aftertaste are , oddly, like the dry finish of grapefruit soda.
Overall, it's OK. It'd be better on a hot summer day. Just drink it cold, & fairly quickly . One is fine, as a switch-up from the usual, but I wouldn't want a 6pk. There's good reason for wine coolers falling out of favor. ;)

Slightly foggy dull amber with a tall and nearly overactive off-white foam head.
I'm at first taken aback by the almost Heine sort of skunk aroma it produces right out of bottle. However, from thereafter it's just sweet candy, and more like mango than passion fruit at that. It's not crazy sweet, mitigated by a touch of biscuit, but it's more than I would have expect compared to their grapefruit bottles, which I've had several times but apparently have never rated.
The fluffy medium body quickly becomes a little slick before finishing oddly powder dry.
