I had this beer on-tap in a big taster glass at Oregon Brewers Festival. This is a strawberry rhubarb gose, and I think it takes the prize for best beer name at OBF 2014.
Appearance: medium orange with a light haze and a light effervescence. There's a finger of white foam atop; pretty attractive.
Smell: tart, with a little bit of fruitiness and a little bit of refreshing wheaty character.
Taste: there's a little bit of strawberry and the rhubarb is light, but that plays well with the slightly tart gose character. There's a refreshing wheaty element as well, which is to be expected.
Mouthfeel: moderate body with a decent carbonation and a moderate creaminess.
Overall: quite tasty and drinkable. I'm not completely sold on rhubarb in beer, but I guess if you have to make a rhubarb brew, a gose might be the way to go.
