The bottling date is too smeared to read. It's (late) november, so I assume this is not as fresh as it probably should be. So... grain of salt and all that.
Golden amber body with heft through the core and a nice off white head. Good retention and incredible lacing.
Even here in November, it's still got some nice bright freshness to the aroma. Floral trending towards nectar with some light citrus and a creamy grassy character. Supportive malts.
Unsurprisingly the fresh hops character is largely absent at this point. There's still some light citrus and earthy pine. Tickles of nectar/honey on the high ends. Again, supportive malts that don't step beyond their lane.
Body is incredibly creamy smoothe. Fine pricks of carbonation support and help break up the earthy pine bitterness that carries the finish and after.
I'll be honest: I 100% bought this because of the kickass ewok label. I figured a fresh hop beer this far out would probably not whelm very much. It clearly would have been superior a month or two ago when the fresh hop element could really shine, but I've been incredibly pleasantly surprised with it regardless. I will now be keeping an eye out for it next year during fresh hop season!

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium coppery amber with a fine, half finger white head with great retention and thick lacing, looks nice. Aroma of mildly caramel malt, citrus and tropical fruit hops, orange, lemon and mixed tropical fruit, a hint of light stone fruit. Flavor is pale malt, citrus hops, lemon, grapefruit and a little orange and vague tropical fruit. Lingering lemon citrus. Excellent medium bodied with moderate creaminess. Very reminiscent of last years version; good fresh hop herba flavors and like the last time, the lemon notes are dominant over other citrus and mixed fruit. A nice single, fresh hop pale ale that I will definitely pick up each year. Great Ewok themed label.
