Pours an orange/amber with about a fingers head. I personally didn't think the beer was that dank. It has a good taste with a slightly bitter finish. It's not quite heavy enough for my take on dank, though the hop flavor is very good, with notes of pine. Rated 2-27-2021

Bottle from Safeway in Portland. Dark, clear amber with high, rocky head. Caramel malty aroma with a hint of earthy dank hops. Taste kicks the hops up a notch, but theres still some nice caramel, butterscotch malty goodness going on. Hops hang around for a bit with some lingering bitterness. Really tasty.

Color is dark orange with modest foam in the Affligem chalice. Quite tangy and spritzy on the tongue. Body is surprisingly light and watery. Claimed to be dry-hopped with the "stickiest, drippiest, and dankest hops..." It is oddly hard to get some kind of aroma from this. Nose is herbal tea, dank wet wood.
This is quite acidic with a slight orange peel taste. The finish tastes like old grapefruit. Bitter aftertaste with the lingering resins and a mineral edge. This is so overhopped without much redeeming aromatics I don't get the pleasure. It seems to get harsher with each sip. From the 500 ml bottle purchased at Haggen Market. Label says "Beer #79."

500ml bottle in Portland. No date info...so c'mon.
Pours a clear blood orange....very intriguing color.
Head dissipates fairly quickly.
Glass lacing is not strong.
Easy to drink, but a bit bland. Certainly not "dank" as advertised.
Bready, w slightly bitter, dry aftertaste.
Good beer, but not uniquely memorable (...except the color).

Appearance is slightly cloudy bright burnt orange. A moderate, creamy, ivory head has great persistence and lacing. Aroma is a lot of citrus hops, caramel malt, and a touch of dankness. The taste is slightly sweet caramel malt with a nice citrus hop balance. Finish is moderately dank. Mouthfeel is full, smooth, and creamy.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a hazy, medium orange amber, almost the color of juice, with a one finger white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale and caramel malts, citrus and dank hops, orange, lemon and faint tropical fruit, moderately dank. Flavor is pale, mildly caramel malt, citrus and dank hops, grapefruit, lemon, pine, moderately dank. Nice fruit rind and dank hop finish with some lingering pine. Medium bodied with light creaminess. A dank West Coast style IPA, and am I glad to find a new one, fresh new IPA of this style are getting rarer. A great hop bill that delivers on its promise of herbal flavor as well as traditional pine and citrus. Interesting hazy orange look. An all around great IPA.

Firsties! Amber pour, tight head some lacing. Not much coming up for the nose. A sip and you can tell it lives up to its billing as a dank IPA. Has a thick mouthfeel, light carbonation and tasting like what I imagine biting into a green hop bud would taste like. The 6.3% ABV seems light for the amount of what is going in this beer. Sip it slowly.
