A great, toasty and malty dark Märzen style Festbier.
Deep orange with copper and golden highlights. Perfect clarity and an off white head that leaves a respectable amount of spotty lacing.
Aroma is dominated by a properly toasted white bread. A touch of grassy and peppery spices underneath.
Flavor follows with a very toasty approach. Nutty with some grain and caramel, again followed by a grassy hop finish.
Clean and well balanced feel with a creeping bitterness on the end. Medium to full feel, yet still smooth enough to take some chugs.
Overall, Gigantic has a goody here. Not the most traditional, but lays down some serious respect to the approach. Prost!
