Sit back and get deep into the groove. Enjoy a sublime state of smooth, with notes of espresso, chocolate, and roast backed by a touch of caramel sweetness. A stout with a warm sound and lots of low-end punch.

Bottle from Trader Joe's.
Jet black with a dark brown head with good retention and lacing, this looks solid. The nose is very good with a blend of roast and licorice, mild anise and earth notes, cocoa, a lot coffee. A light citrus hop character is present. The palate opens mildly bitter with earth, roast, cocoa dark chocolate, a nice fruity coffee note with dried blueberry. The mid palate has creamy coffee, roast and a little brown and burnt sugar. Drying, roasty on the finish with a lingering bitterness. Just a hair watery on the finish, this is a solid, well balanced stout.

500 ml reusable bottle purchased at Trader Joe's in Salem OR
only $2.99.!!!
Pours the traditional handsome colored stout..black body with a nice beige creamy/frothy head.
Aroma mostly roasted grains and creamy chocolate.. that's enough for me.
Taste very balanced yet very tasty roasted malts, nuts, cream, light coffee..very easy stuff.
Great mouth feel for style..very well carbonated and does not linger on the tongue. Great
Nice beer..very good

Black body with two fingers of tan head. Swathes of lace appear as the head drops.
Smell is roasted malt with a touch of cocoa.
Taste is sweet roasted malt molasses cocoa maybe a hint of coffee.
Mouthfeel is light to medium with good carbonation. The finish is sweet and lightly dry and a hint of bitterness.
Overall a tasty and easy drinking Stout.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing opaque black in the glass with a thin, dark khaki head that dissipates to a thin film with light lacing. Aroma of dark toasted and biscuit malt, cocoa and mild coffee; a bit woody. Flavor is dark toasted malt with moderate char, coffee, cocoa. Finishes with char and dark malt, coffee bitterness. Medium bodied with sharp carbonation. A straightforward, not complex stout with good char and cocoa notes. Body is a bit thin and there is a bit more carbonation than expected, but flavor is good and well balanced.
