500ml bottle poured in to a nonic glass, no dating.
Look- Hazy darker golden amber color. modest off-white head with great retention and solid lacing. moderate carbonation streams visible.
Smell- Big hits of tropical fruit (pineapple, papaya and mango), melon, citrus (orange/tangerine, grapefruit and lemon), peach/nectarine, caramel malt, faint pine and floral/grassy hop notes.
Taste- Similar to the aroma, tropical fruit, citrus, nectarine and melon, minimal bitter pine... almost sweet actually. Fairly well balanced.
Feel- Medium bodied and pillowy soft, the high ABV is well hidden. Light carbonation on the tongue. Chuggable for a DIPA.
O- A killer DIPA, well worth checking out. If it wasn't for the high price tag I'd be drinking it all day.
