Remember being a kid and wanting your own giant robot? This beer is like that - it's like going back to a simpler time when caramel malt and some citrusy hops seemed like the most amazing thing.

Dark auburn pour, finger plus of foamy khaki head. Nose sends roasted grain.
Taste offers caramel, roasted grain, citrus with pith, medium kilned malt, light woodiness. Medium mouthfeel. Finish shows more roasted malt with a light floral hint.

Ordered at Mahoney's Public House. This is one of the better Red/Amber Ales I've had, in my opinion. I like strong IPAs, but for a Red I like them low on IBU's and this one qualifies. Nice, sweet malt taste with minimum hop very good and very drinkable. 40 IBUs Rated 9-12-2022

Red amber color with plenty of foam in the big Duvel tulip. Thin body with a fain sweetness to start. Pleasing aroma of grain and cereal. Malty and a little musty in a nice way. Rather bitter finish, especially for this style, but quite drinkable. Actually better than a real Irish Red, in my experience. From the 500 ml bottle.

Pint at Westside Taphouse in West Salem OR.
$7.00
Deep red but dy with a small frothy tan head.
Malty aromas but bit of floral and slightly pine hops.
Taste is basically same as the aroma. Nice finish.
Good easy mouth feel.
All in all a reasonable red ale.
