Handsome amber brew with lacing all down the Stella Artois goblet. Modest aroma of orange, alfalfa, and dark leafy greens. Mouthfeel is lively and slushy. Flavors of orange peel, cucumber, raw green beans, and a touch of candied grapefruit peel. It's quite bitter in the aftertaste but certainly a flavorful and interesting brew. I call it one of the best fresh hop brews of the season, along with Gigantics's Georgetown Collaboration Fresh Hop IPA. From the 16 oz can. No date but it's their Beer #220.

Look: Pours a murky dark orange with a fast-forming off-white head that levels off as a pillow and leaves intricate lacing around the rim
Aroma: I could smell it on the pour. Pine, sharp white and pink grapefruit, sweet onion, some skunky Cannabis, orange zest, and canberries
Taste: The smell was just the teaser as this hits hard and fast up front with a ton of resinous pine – needles and sap – and pithy grapefruit that coats the tongue with slick hop oils. Some onion and Cannabis come in swinging not to be denied and blend well with the pine/grapefruit while raspberries and blackberries swirl in the background until it closes with a nice bite
Mouthfeel: Full, slick, medium-high carbonation, and moderately dry on the finish
Overall: I love this beer, simply put. I’ve had these folks’ Sodbuster Simcoe fresh hop every year for years and it’s always a treat because I love Simcoe and because it’s always a top-tier fresh hop beer. No different this time around as it’s another winner and something that every beer geek and/or Simcoe fan has to try

Canned 9/16. Pour is a unfiltered amber, modest head and lacing. Get the nose in close for the full hop aroma of citrus and floral background from the pour before it fades away! You get a strong upfront bitterness along with a blast of fresh hop flavor that fades out fairly quickly. Sip again to bring it back again. It's a moderately dry with only a hint of malt...IPA All The Way.
