We went full hop-nerd with our buddies at Georgetown Brewing and brewed a Fresh Hop IPA packed to the brim with Strata hops from not one, but two legendary farms — Westwood Farms and Goschie Farms.
The result? An absolute hop bomb that bursts with juicy layers of citrus, tropical fruit, and that unmistakable Strata magic. Fresh from the bine to the brewhouse, straight into your glass. ✨

This might be my favorite fresh hop brew of the season. Pours a darker shade of amber with sticky, long-lasting foam in the Troubadour tulip. Aromas of green herbs, grass, and toast. Slushy and spritzy in the mouth. Some slight malty notes and a dry finish. Flavors of cereal, orange peel, and hints of pineapple with a darker ending. Cedar aromatics and just enough bitterness in the aftertaste. Overall this is a delicious freshie with all the tangy freshness and a refreshing amount of oily acids. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bridge & Tunnel in Astoria.

Approachable fresh hop collab that pours very well with ample fluffy head that leads to plenty of lacing throughout the experience. Upon opening a potent bouquet of floral and citrus hops race up the olfactory nerve. Proceeding flavors don't quite match the nose, but the citrus and tropical flavors that come forth are prevalent albeit battling a bit of a sweetness that might be overdone just a bit. Malts are on the caramel spectrum. Bitterness is a bit underwhelming for the style, but this attribute makes this beer a good entry level fresh hop IPA for the hazy fan. Overall this is a nice example of the style that could be enjoyed by a wide circle of hop lovers
