On tap at the brewpub on 8.2.12.
A - Served a dark clear orange with a perfect off-white head. Solid retention.
S - Lots if tropical fruit, mango, citrus and some slight booze.
D - Good carbonation, a medium body. Boozy finish.
O - Smelt and started great, but the hotness took over towards the end. Still a great IIPA.

On tap at the OBF. Hopefully, the OBF will not be the only place this beer is available.
The beer pours a golden amber color with good head retention and considerable lacing. On the nose, mama mia! There is a huge aroma of skunky weed, dry citrus and pine. There's some underlying tropical fruit as well, but the hoppy bitterness really dominates the aroma profile. On the palate, this beer is every bit as good. Wow! The brewer really nailed it on this one. The flavor profile replicates the nose, with just enough tropical fruit from the malt to balance the tidal wave of hoppy bitterness. Amazingly, the finish is quite dry, with no heat whatsoever from the 8.9% abv. The beer is not at all heavy or tiring on the palate, and this is one DIPA I could drink all day (not a good idea, but it is that good). Mouthfeel is medium bodied, with a long, bitter, dry, pine infused finish.
Just delicious. Very, very impressive!
