A: pours pretty clear golden copper with head that maintains on the surface and clings to the sides.
S: I get mostly an apple vibe from a fruity nose. Also some pear and some light brett underneath
T/M: sweeter than expected, a little bit of dark fruit (maybe white raisin?) creeps into the fruitiness from the nose. A slightly off putting (to me) blend with the bitter pine/wood hops notes hits in the middle. The end is more subtle, mildly dry, but with a hint of fruit lingering.
O: little sweeter than I would expect, missing some funkiness a was expecting. This is a decent tasting beer, but it aost tends towards a "light barleywine" (to make up a style).

From 04/25/14 notes. Had on tap at the brewpub.
a - Pours a deep clear orange color with one inch of fluffy white head and moderate carbonation evident.
s - Smells of apples, spices, yeast, light brett, fruity malts, lemon, citrus, herbal notes, and oak/wood.
t - Tastes of fruity malts, apples, spices, yeast, grains, light brett, lemon, citrus, herbal notes, bread, and earthy notes. Less brett than the nose and more fruit and apples.
m - Medium body and moderate carbonation.
o - Overall a decent tripel. It is a bit light on the brett but has a lot of apples to it. Worth checking out.
