From 04/25/14 notes. On tap at the brewpub in DC. 4 oz. taster.
a - Pours a murky, bright orange color with one inch of bright white head and moderate carbonation evident.
s - Smells of tangerines, spices, yeast, bready malts, and earthy notes. Tangerines are definitely there, but not too strong or fresh smelling.
t - Tastes of apples, grass, earthy notes, musty, metalic, fruity malts, tangerines, vanilla, dough, and bready malts. Taste is not as good as the nose and less tangerines. Little off, can't quite place it.
m - Medium body and moderate carbonation. Easy to drink.
o - Overall a decent beer I was excited to try, but the taste seemed a bit off, and had a lot less tangerines than the taste.
