Poured from the bottle at a tasting into a snifter glass. Thanks to VTJawo and the cheese. From notes.
A nice chestnut brown body, relatively clear. Some nice yellow golden hues along the edges also. Light tan collar presented. Quite nice looking.
Weird nose a bit. Watery caramel and very sweet icing sugar smells. A real cotton candy aroma and just very sugary. Kind of interesting but all over the place, not much hint of possible tartness or funk to come. Not getting any grape/wine or whatever off of this at all either.
Palate finally brings some hint of tart quality. Mild tartness but a real lifeless body that's papery and wet. Much of the sugars luckily don't come through, but a very watery plain vinegar flavor. Fleeting very thin body on the taste as well.
Drinkable but not really doing it for me, with a very bizarre aroma.
