I've had a few brett IPA's and love the interplay of bitter and funky. This one was not quite as funky as I had hoped but still is a great beer. Nice job.

A- Pale golden snifter pour from the taps. Foamy and massive cap with great retention; almost too good. Large coating of lace with drizzled patterns.
S- Brett is the obvious driving force with a dry and spicy yet also horsey funk profile. Nelson berry-like and white wine hop hints as well as earthy and grassy tones.
T- For me the balance starts with the Brux leading to Nelson with just a hint of the Falconer at the finish. Somewhat phenolic with pepper and clove but also estery with white grapes and pears. Berries, tangerine, pine resin, horsey hay, slight tarts, oranges, grass and spice.
MF- Light-medium overall thickness with a foamy texture. A touch of slickness and tartness. Moderate bubble level with a somewhat dry bitterness finishing it all off.
Id be hard pressed to get so much out of my Brux if I pitched it solo; my hat off to these brewers. Complex and wonderfully balanced even though you will meet a large wall of funky Brux. Brett IPAs like this are always appreciated.

From 10/17/14 notes.
Pours a piss yellow color with one inch of bright white head and low carbonation evident. Brett, oranges, wheat, oak, bitter citrus hops. Medium body and moderate carbonation.
Overall very nice but not quite as good as Bretta World Peach. Worth checking out if you like brett for sure though.
