From 10/17/14 notes. On tap at the brewpub in DC.
Pours a clear bright yellow-orange color with one inch of off white head and moderate carbonation evident. Smells like tons of bourbon, some vanilla and spice too. Medium body and low carbonation. Very hot.
Overall I liked this but it is waaay too hot. One dimensional and tons of heat from the bourbon, but it you like bourbon bombs (which I do), worth checking out.

On draft, pours a translucent pale yellow, with a very thin ring of head.
The nose is spicy and vanilla. The bourbon barrel really dominates and it smells amazing. A little candied sugar as well.
The flavor is vanilla, roast, wood chips, coconut, and a little spice and herbs. The base beer isn't lost, but the bourbon really runs the show. Great barrel treatment.
