On draft to celebrate Travlr's 12,000th rate (congrats Gene!). This beer was brewed in collaboration with Intangible Ales. The base beer is Gene Turns 10K aged in Cabernet Franc Barrels.
Pours a bright hazy gold yellow with a bit more fizzy white head sitting on top. The nose is oak, a little vanilla and floral notes, citrus, lemongrass, funky cheese. The flavor is tart, acidic, a little vinegar, buttery, grapefruit, and lemon. This was my least favorite of the series. They are all unique and nice, but I think this would have been better in the barrel for longer so more of the dark fruit could have impacted the base beer.
