Reminds me of a kriek. Really nice tartness, a little sweet. Nose is full of funk and you get that funk on the finish. Really great sour.

This beer is not retired. Had it OT at Bluejacket this weekend on a visit to DC. Really great beer for fans of tart sours. It was my favorite sour from them, though the others were worthwhile too. Highly recommended.

Sampled at Snallygaster 2014. Like drinking an apricot, so good. So juicy.

From 10/17/14 notes. On tap at the brewpub in DC.
Pours a hazy pinkish-orange color with one inch of white head and moderate carbonation evident. Cherries, vinegar, funk, earthy malts, and sour dark fruits. Reall nice, nose especially. Medium body and low carbonation, light acidity.
Overall a very good sour. Awesome nose and light taste (seeing a trend here), well worth checking out. One of their better beers so far IMO.

I don't usually like fruits in beers (especially tart fruits like cherries) but the guys at Bluejacket know how to get it right. Really really enjoyed this.
