Deep brown, with amber lacing which quickly dissipated. Aromas of coffee, dark fruit, and caramel lead into flavors of the same. The whiskey flavor is nearly absent, and the rest of the flavors seem muddled or muted. The carbonation level is too low, and the body too thin. An interesting and ambitious beverage, but imperfectly executed.
