Look: It pours light gold with a little bit of haze and a white head. Head retention is very good.

Smell: It has aromas of clove, banana, and doughy wheat. There is a background note of toast and bubblegum.

Taste: It has clove flavors up front with clove close behind. There are doughy wheat flavors in the background with a light toast and very low bubblegum.

Feel: It has a medium body with high carbonation.

Overall, Fairly balance with the clove being a little bit more forward than the banana. The other elements provide nice support.

No can date
Pours a med to small fizzy head with fair retention, nice messy lacing, hazy hazy light pale golden-orange color

Nose is interesting, not quite at a hefe level, lots of creamy doughy wheat with plenty of vanilla and citrus, some clove like spices but also interestingly smokey note, smoked banana thing, and some wood, little orange zest, mushy fermented banana, little honey cake

Taste brings sweet wheat, a bit doughy and creamy, with more vanilla frosting and honey cake batter, fair citrus with a little sweet orange zest, clove and spices, some fermented banana and banana bread kinda thing, generic fruity notes, with some mild spicy grassy hops kicking in with med spicy bitterness that really increases on the drier finish to a mild astringent bitter nagging character

Mouth is med to a bit lighter bod, soft creamy wheat, med-higher fizzy carb, touch astringent

Overall eh, this is prob my least fav beer from them so far, just didn't really hit where it was supposed to, there were some promising characters but overall not great

No canned on date. Poured into a weizen glass.

A: Slightly hazy light amber with 1-finger of oatmeal colored head with decent retention and dots of lacing.

S: Aroma is heavy clove, low to no banana, with a bit of Juicy Fruit gum and a grassy element that seems out of place.

T: Flavor is a little fruity, not enough in that department for me, with a lot of clove and much more spicy hop expression that I am used to in this style. Fruity bubble gum esters.

M: Smooth and lightly creamy with high carbonation and medium body.

O: A nicely brewed beer but not really in my flavor camp — clove/fruity balance is off for me but I am sure the clove lovers will be liking this beer a lot.

Not an attractive beer but not that important.
Medium light carbonation with about a medium body
Aroma is banana,banana candy,clove,yeast,malt,bubblegum
Taste follows the aroma, not as sweet as the scent hints at. Really nice blend of flavors, complex and interesting

Pours an ugly murky golden. if it wasn't a hefeweizen, I may have been disgusted by this. It isn't ugly for a Hefe though. Some banana on the nose. I get banana bread, a little tang, and some clove on the finish. A little more of the hops as it warms. This isn't Weihenstephaner, but this is a mighty good and above average American Hefe.

Draft at the source.

Golden body with a thin white collar. Expected aromas of banana, clove, bubble gum. Similar flavor. Perhaps the body is not as full and seductive as the great German examples of the style. Solid.
