Brewed in the northern german tradition, this eminently drinkable Pils is made exclusively with pilsner malt & yakima valley-grown loral hops, then lagered in our cellar for 4 weeks. a classical hop-forward lager, love cats is refreshingly crisp, clean, bone-dry, brisk & bitter.

On tap at Bluejacket in Washington, DC.
This one pours a mostly clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like earthy and citrusy hops, crackery malts, and some light lemony aromas.
I love a mildly hop forward lager – this still presents as a lager, not a pale ale made with lager yeast, and that makes all the difference for me. It’s lemony, spicy, earthy, and citrusy, with a pleasantly crackery and mildly sweet malt backbone.
This is light and crisp, but not thin, and feels fulfilling on each sip. It’s quite drinkable.
This was very enjoyable.

No can date
Pours a med frothy 1 finger head with great retention, soapy lacing, mostly clear golden corn pilsner color
Nose is decent, the malts are less grainy-sweet pilsner and more of the bready doughy cereal and a little cake batter even, a bit of sweetness, then hops kick in with herbal and a little lemony note
Taste brings more of teh doughy wheat-like malt and cereal as well as cake batter again, a bit of sweetness, quite a bit of cereal mash character, hops bring med bitterness at first, with more herbal slight earthy flavors, and a little fruitiness, then the hops get spicy and quite bitter with a crisp bitterness on the finish and touch of sulfate enhanced crisp bitterness, and gets a bit aggressive on the bitterness overall
Mouth is med bod, med fizzy carb, soft lager
Overall not bad, gets a bit heavy and rough on the hops, malts were not quite where I expected, as well as the hops, but in general a decent pilsner

A: Pours a clear pale golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and faint pale yellow + bright yellow + straw yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall sudsy foamy bright white head that reduces to a couple of medium sized patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of biscuit + bready malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness and light to moderate aromas of floral + herbal + earthy hops. Light aromas of lager yeast.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of biscuit + bready malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of lager yeast. Finally there are light to moderate flavors of floral + herbal + earthy hops that impart a slightly heavier than light amounts of bitterness which lingers for a short amount of time and fades away leaving a relatively clean finish.
M: Slightly heavier than light bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp upfront with a moderate amount of dryness and a relatively clean finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a refreshingly crisp dry mouthfeel with a relatively clean finish. Enjoyable and I could easily have a couple of these.

Medium body with medium carbonation
Excellent aroma,hoppy,malt in the background
For a pilsner its definitely well hopped, nice bite but not overwhelming.
Cant go wrong with choosing this if ever at the brewery

On tap:
A pale gold, clear body, not an impressive head, but the medium ring provides some lacing.
Nose has more spicy hops than bready malts, initially - but some fresh baked bread starts to sneak through as it warms. The taste is surprisingly hop-forward with grass and peppery herb and a minty-to piney lingering bitterness. There’s some malt right in the beginning when I look for it, along with a splash of grapefruit, but the core bitter notes mentioned above totally drive this beer.
The beer has certain aspects that stem mainly from feel that indicate it’s a lager, but it could easily fit into the IPL category and damn near the old-school hop-forward IPAs. Once I adjusted my expectations, I didn’t mind the beer so much.

Pours a golden straw. Nice noble hop aroma. Very floral. There’s some spicy vegetal earthy hop character that is sticky in that it lingers on the tongue and does not vacate. I want to like this more but it lacks some of the crisp and clean character that I desire. The hop presence reminds me more of Czech than German pilsners.
