It's not the prettiest IPA you're going to see. It's a thick golden, beige. Banana and lychee on the nose. Malt sweetness up front with drying peppercorn. The malt character isn't tropical. It's just sweet and not particular. A touch of white grape on the finish. It's fine, but not great. There's a huge dichotomy between the best Nelson IPAs and the rest. This is the rest.
