Voyages is a blend of sour blond ales that aged in a mix of red and white wine barrels for 18 months. Following oak barrel maturation and blending, this beer was further steeped in fruit (80% strawberries/ 20% cherries) at a rate of four pounds per gallon. To round out the fruit intensity, we dosed Voyages with fresh vanilla to finish. This is a beautiful barrel-aged fruited sour!

On tap at Lures Bar & Grille. Pours light pink/brown with a creamy off-white head. Aroma and flavor feature strawberries with some cherry and a bit of vanilla sweetness with white wine, funk, and leather. Not very tart. Overall a nice fruited barrel-aged sour but the strawberries are not tart enough to balance out the vanilla sweetness.
