On tap at Bluejacket in Washington, DC.
This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells quite roasty, with some earthy and herbal bitter aromas, chocolate, toast, and caramel.
This is exactly the sort of thing that Bluejacket is going to do well. It’s supremely toasty and roasty, with some dark chocolate, licorice, caramel, and a nice herbal hop character.
This is lighter bodied, but nicely creamy, with a great drinkability overall.
I pretty much have to order a dark lager if I see one, I never don’t want one.
