Dinosaurs is a blend of sour blond ales that were aged in a mix of red and white wine barrels for 18 months. Following oak barrel maturation and blending, this beer was further steeped on fruit (40% blueberries/ 60% raspberries) at a rate of four pounds per gallon. To round out the fruit intensity, we dosed Dinosaurs with fresh vanilla and matured the beer in bottle for 6 months. Fruit forward, smooth and balanced, Dinosaurs is as vibrant as it is complex.

13 oz pour on tap at Lures Bar & Grille. Pours a muddy reddish/purple with very little head. Aroma and flavor feature tart raspberries, blueberries, leather, red wine, funk, tannins, and sweet vanilla. Extremely tasty although I could have done with less vanilla.
