Always Wonder is a low strength pale lager of German descent. A style that is rarely seen these days, Schankbiers were traditionally popular with villagers and cyclists due to their extreme quaffability.

I’m assuming this is an all malt light given the German style reference. It is definitely a little more full in body (but still light). The nose is a little more grainy with a light amount of toast, maybe a little hay-like grass. Taste is similar with a toasted cereal opening with some grass and dried herb bitterness. Light enough, quite refreshing, and a bit of dry bitterness to urge another sip.

On tap at the brewery. Bluejacket does lagers well and this is no exception - it's crisp and clean with a pleasant hoppy bit (grassy, slight citrus). A perfect summer beer at 3.5% abv.
