Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Very pale amber looking, slightly looking a dull brown and muted yellow body color. Very bright and fluffy white head, reaching a solid three fingers, almost rocky like retention too as well.
Simple hop aroma. Pulls off a muted pineapple noted mostly and not much else. Pleasant enough, but also with an odd backbone that seems to hint at a very minor diacetyl.
Palate still makes a tasty presence. Full rich body of juiced pineapple with a good almost icing sugar like sweetness. Slightly slick mouthfeel not terribly however, gives to warm and light tropical flavors. Aftertaste and finish is particularly light, which is a nice contrast from a good solid middle girth. Hints at an almost wheat like chewy palate as well.
Not a classic NEIPA at all by any means, but a solid drinkable IPA for sure.
