Gan Bei (乾杯), or "dry cup," is the customary toast in Taiwanese culture. Revelers are expected to empty their glass as a show of respect to the person making the toast. Our Gan Bei – a refreshingly dry 5% abv Taiwanese-style rice lager – was naturally carbonated & gently hopped with a touch of Saaz. Unbelievably drinkable, this beer was brewed on Lunar New Year 2022 for High Side’s 4th anniversary. Inspired by friendship & celebrations, we dream of raising a glass in one of Taiwan’s bustling night markets.
