Chasing Parties is a double dry-hopped Hazy IPA packed with Nelson Sauvin & NZ Cascade hops. This juicy IPA is bursting with vibes of gooseberry, white grape, stonefruit, lime & a hint of grassy pine. Soft, lush, and endlessly drinkable.

16oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $4.75. No canned on date and I can't find any information on Bluejacket's instagram about when it was released. I have a feeling that this can may not be so fresh, but let's give it a go.

Look: Pours out a moderately hazy orangey color with a rocky off-white head that was initially two fingers tall. The head dissipated to a thin layer pretty quickly.

Smell: Citrus zest and juicy citrus notes. It also smells a bit acidic and chalky, as well as somewhat green on the finish.

Taste: I am surprised at how much acidity is in this beer. I generally like when a Hazy IPA is juicy, but this is bordering on a "Sour IPA" type of style. It's displaying notes of Tang, orange lollipops, and Gatorade gum (IYKYK). The beer has a mild bitterness on the finish. It's interesting. I'm not sure if this is how the beer is intended to taste as nobody else has reviewed it on this site and it was hard to find much information elsewhere. All in all though, it's somewhat enjoyable. I wish that I could identify the Nelson Sauvin and NZ Cascade hops here, but the mild hoppy flavor is pretty generic.

Feel: Medium bodied. Highly carbonated and slightly chalky mouthfeel.

Overall: It's decent. Not exactly what I was expecting, but it's better than being overly sweet or boring. Tastes more like orange juice mixed with seltzer, hops, and alcohol than a beer but that can still be better than a lot of beers so it's alright.
