The appearance was a dark red/brown complexion with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light lacing here and there. The smell had a mild nutty grainy caramel aroma. The taste was slightly sweet and nutty. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body and came across pretty sessionable. The carbonation was there but mainly smooth across my tongue for the most part. Overall, good English Mild Ale I’d have again.
