From a bomber. Reddish brown color and a good inch of beige head. Roasted malt smell. Medium body and smooth feel. Roasted malt and caramel flavors with an earthy finish.

Pours hazy, dark brownish-red in color with 3/4 inch head. Taste is caramel, dark bready, and earthy hops. Sweet with light bitterness, medium bodied, and high carbonation. Makes for an average to slightly above average malty ale. Could do this again or pass.

The appearance was a ruddy semi-dark red color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a decent pace. Sly ridged lacing. The aroma had a biscuity/caramel malty sweetness with some nuts and dark fruits. The flavor takes all of those previously mentioned aromas to blend nicely with a touch of earthiness hitting to blend on into the aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine and the ABV felt fine. Overall, this was a nice strong ale, perhaps leaning towards an English style instead of an American as there seemed barely any hop bite.

Muddy-looking ruddy brown with a thin white head that leaves a tiny crown. Sweet malt aroma that carries over to the taste. Little hops or bitterness to speak of. More like cherry cough syrup. Medium bodied with solid carbonation. Tastes like one of my early homebrew fails.
