Had a 5 litre keg. This beer won a silver medal at the 2014 CBIA craft beer awards in the 1N category (International Style Pale Ale).
Appearance: pours well from keg with clear golden Amber colour and good persistent off-White head. A good looking beer.
Flavour: very "more"ish. Hard to stop at one glass. Medium bodied creamy mouthfeel. Toasty caramel malts and good bitter hop finish well balanced.
Aroma: nice hop aromas, sweet pine and earthy overtones.
Overall: loved this beer. A little different to some in its class in that it is more medium bodied creamier mouthfeel but very much a go-to, earthy, flavoursome, dry pale ale I will try again. Pity the keg is finished now!

330ml bottle, thanks to ADZA. Into a COTU snifter.
Golden orange appearance with off-white foam that leaves spotty lacing and holds up pretty well. Nice glow to it.
Smells a little sweet, some sugar backing up the citrus and sweet pine. Citrus dominates later as the pine just fades away without leaving much of a trace.
Sweet citrus is the order of the day, some vitamin c tablets and citric acid. Sort of twangy a bit as the citrus and sweetness clash.
Suffers a bit with the sweetness, just not really helping the hops shine. Hurts drinkability in what ought to be a pretty sessionable beer. Medium body.
Interesting to try a beer from a brewery i'd never come across and was never likely to stumble across from the other side of the country. Hopefully they can tweak it a bit and make it really stand out as a solid Pale Ale by dialing back the sweetness a touch.

This is a cross between a US and a UK pale and pours a hazed orange amber hue with a fast vanishing one finger head and a haze of lacing here and there, the smell is citrus, apricot, pineapple and fruit salad, the mouthfeel is medium bodied with perfect moderate carbonation and the tastes of citrus, pine, boiled candy and fruit salad are pretty simple but yeah work for what it says it is just a session drop cheers.
