Okay, if anyone from Cowtown, let alone anyone who watched and paid attention to the Stanley Cup finals in 2004 can't reference where the name of this lager comes from then just go stand in the corner and face the wall. The Red Mile, the strip of 17th Ave. SW leading from the Saddledome west for a good dozen blocks or so. The site of much drunken revelry and many flashed tits while the Flames made a run for the cup. Also within walking distance of the Wildwood itself.

Anyways, this lager was served in a stemmed glass, a deep clear amber hue, sticky beige head with lots of lacing. Light toasted malt on the aroma with a very faint mild hop presence. Sweet toasted and caramel malts in the flavour all the way through, minimal hop finish. Smooth and light with a full velvety mouthfeel. A great addition to the new Wildwood taps, it's easy drinking and has a robust flavour. Worthy of being a sessional.
